COMEDK UGET Medical 2015– COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admissions to undergraduate Medical and Dental programmes in participating private medical and dental colleges Karnataka.

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 to be conducted on May 10, 2015 for as many as 2000 medical and dental seats in member institutions of COMEDK. There are 14 medical and 25 dental COMEDK member institutions participating in COMEDK UGET Medical 2015.

In 2014, as many as 96,100 candidates had taken COMEDK UGET Medical entrance test across the state. Of the total number of candidates, 45,235 appeared for medical (PCB – Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 12,570 for medical as well as engineering (PCMB).

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Eligibility: Important Highlights of COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Eligibility Criteria are given below:

• Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject
• General category candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State)
• Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply
• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination i.e. second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent prior to 2013 are not eligible for COMEDK UGET Medical 2015
• Candidates already pursuing Medical UG course anywhere in India are also not eligible for COMEDK UGET Medical 2015

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Exam Pattern: The scheduled date for COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 exam is May 10, 2015. The question booklet of COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 is based on the syllabus as prescribed by examination authority. Check below the important points of COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Exam Pattern:

• Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration besides Biology and English as another paper for two hours duration
• For Medical/Dental and Engineering courses (Both): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as one paper for three hours duration besides Biology and English as another paper for two hours duration
• The Question Paper Booklet given to the candidate will consist of 240 questions (multiple choice types)
• Each question carries 1 mark and there no negative mark to be deducted for incorrect response

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Admit Card: After processing the COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 application from an admit card will be uploaded on the official website of COMEDK. The COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Admit Card will not be sent through post.

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Result: The result of COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 to be declared in the first week of June, 2015. The COMEDK UGET 2015 result to be declared for only those candidates who will score qualifying marks in the entrance test. 

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Counselling: Centralized Counseling (Single window) is organized for seat selection in MBBS and BDS programmes. Seats to be allotted as the rank of candidates in the COMEDK UGET 2015 merit list.

COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 Answer Key: The provisional answer key will be released after the entrance test. With the help of COMEDK UGET Medical 2015 answer key candidates can calculate their scores on the basis of their performance in the exam.
